Last month I collaborated with my friend and fellow artist Abz Hakim on illustrating (في بيتنا آلة جديدة) an awesome Arabic children's book written by Fatima Charafeddine and to be published this year by Kalimat Publishing.
working on this book with abz was a lot of fun! Not only did we have to synchronize our biological hours (Amman-Toronto) We also had to work through the challenge of merging our very different styles, which, in my opinion, turned out to look great.
(Thanks to Skype share screen feature, built-in Macbook Pro's web cam and Yousendit for making our lives much easier!)
